We are seeking a motivated early-career environmental professional to join our Seattle team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build hands-on experience across a wide range of environmental projects in a flexible, fast-paced consulting environment.

Role Overview

The ideal candidate will support environmental site assessments and remediation projects, working both independently and as part of a team. This role offers exposure to a variety of project types, including Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, as well as active remediation sites.

You will be involved in fieldwork, data collection, reporting, and coordination with project managers and contractors. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, including site inspections and report preparation
  • Perform Phase II investigations, including soil, soil vapor, and groundwater sampling
  • Assist with remediation activities and oversight of subcontractors
  • Support Underground Storage Tank (UST) removal projects
  • Perform Property Condition Assessments (PCAs)
  • Analyze environmental data and assist in preparing technical reports
  • Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely and accurate project delivery
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with team members and clients

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field (required)
  • 0–3 years of experience in environmental consulting (entry-level candidates encouraged to apply)
  • Familiarity with Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments and field sampling techniques preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard business applications
  • Experience with AutoCAD is a plus

Preferred Certifications (Not Required)

  • OSHA HAZWOPER (40-hour)
  • First Aid and CPR certification

Candidates without OSHA training and/or less than one year of experience will still be considered.
