David McAlister

David McAlister is the Founder and Principal of McAlister GeoScience. David has over 17 years of experience in the environmental field working for ERM and Tetra Tech. It was in 2012 we started McAlister GeoScience. From there it has grown into the multi-discipline, geological consulting firm with the same core value in mind, helping our clients achieve their goals.

David’s professional experience has been predominantly in the support of industrial and commercial real estate transactions, specifically Phase I & Phase II investigations, agency interaction, and in-depth site investigation / remediation work. He has been working with real estate agents, loan agents, loan processors, investors, and developers. His professional experience has also included litigation support and regulatory compliance as well as site investigation and remediation for a number of Fortune 100 companies over the years at various sites in the greater Los Angeles area. This has provided him with exposure to vast array of environmental challenges that are facing property managers and risk management professionals today.

Dale Bodman

Mr. Bodman has more than 30 years’ experience in public and private sector environmental engineering, engineering design services, remediation, construction design, and project/construction management of construction and remedial construction projects. He has worked on projects as the owner’s representative, consultant, and contractor. His experience ranges from site investigations, through advanced remediation systems to the management of complicated remedial construction projects. Mr. Bodman has been involved
in the cleanup of contaminated soil and groundwater from asbestos/lead, full range petroleum products, chlorinated solvents to radioactive waste. He has experience with the following remedial technologies- Soil Vapor Extraction (SVE) (high and low vacuum), Multi-Phase Extraction (MPE), Air Sparging, Pneumatic Fracturing, Air-Stripping, Chemical Oxidation (ISCO) and In-Situ and Ex-Situ Biotechnologies.

Mr. Bodman has worked under numerous Federal and State regulatory agencies across the country. He has presented projects to the California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC), California Regional Water Control Boards (RWQCB) and the Department of Environmental Health in several cities. His projects have involved the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) Corrective Action and Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA) remedial investigations and action plans.

Brendan Shine

Brendan Shine possesses experience in domestic and international consulting in environmental, geotechnical, hydrogeologic, and construction management projects. Mr. Shine has successfully completed projects for clients in aerospace, petroleum, food, waste management, mining and other business sectors, and worked with government, both as an in-house contractor for the EPA and as a liaison for commercial clients. Focused experience includes field management of large-scale, high profile environmental and civil remediation programs, emergency responses, characterizations and monitoring programs, with hands-on experience in program design, budgeting, permitting, scheduling, management, and problem solving. Mr. Shine has considerable experience in report preparation, critical review, and project oversight.

Mark Spute

Mark Spute is an experienced and detail-oriented Property Condition Assessor who has assessed over 3.38 million square feet or property in 2017 and over 2.07 million square feet in 2016. Mark has experience with a broad array of property types, foreign and domestic, for leading public and private sector companies.

Mark has worked for Brookfield Global Integrated Services and assessed a 895,503 square foot medical research laboratory, seven 4 to 9 story buildings with 3 level underground parking structures on 7 acres. He determined corrective actions and cost estimates for associated defect conditions and provided written reports about the general condition of all building systems. Mark has also worked for Partner Engineering & Science, AEI and EMG performing numerous Property Condition Assessments of varying property types.
